After you have done this press OK and you have successfully watermarked your image with a logo.IWatermark Pro Free Download Latest Version for Windows. Then you use the sliders to determine the size and opacity of your image as well as whether it should appear embossed. If you select the corner option you can also choose which corner, but I'm just going for the bottom right. Or we could put the icon in the corner, which could be cropped off so isn't as secure but avoids ruining the picture altogether. Place it directly in the centre of the image, which does make it extremely difficult to steal but it can also really detract from it at the same time. We can then tile our logo which will cover the image with countless instances of our watermark. Firstly though press the Browse button in the Watermark Image Source box and find the logo you just saved. In this window we have a variety of things to decide. Now, you should be presented with a new window containing all the options for watermarking your image. The other two options are for Digimarc protection which you have to pay for through the company's website, while the method we are using is free and should work about as well. Open the image you wish to protect, I'm using one of my masterpieces from another tutorial here, and then select Image, Watermarking, Visible Watermark right at the bottom of the list. There you have it, your logo will be ready to import. PNG file, open File, Save As, then in the menu that opens up select where you want to save your file, enter an image name and then in the drop-down menu beneath the name of the file select. PNG format as it supports Alpha Channels, meaning it will allow us to have anything from opaque areas to transparent ones, and if we used a format that didn't support this we'd have a white rectangular border added to our logo which will make the logo look amateurish when it is added to the final image. Now we have our logo we need to save the image, but we cannot save it into any old format since we need to make sure we maintain the transparency around our image. So select the Crop tool and drag the marquis to the right size to hold your image without cutting any areas off and press the green tick to apply the crop. Our next stop is cropping the image down if we leave the image with large borders at the side this will make it harder to position correctly with the Watermarking tool, especially if we try to place it in the corner. Obviously mine's no masterpiece, but you'll take more time over it than I did if you're actually going to place this on all your images, but for now it'll do since it's bright and hard to ignore. Also make sure it would stand out on an image. ![]() Create your logo however you want, just make sure you'd recognise it of course. Then select your canvas texture and press OK to create your document. If you also go for an Art Media logo you will want to make sure that Enable Fill Colour is also disabled. As long as you have a transparent background you can do whatever you like with the rest of the settings, I'm using an Art Media layer to paint my logo for fun, but you can use a raster layer and draw something more simple/complex. In the menu that opens up make sure the Enable Fill Colour box is empty and displaying something akin to a no smoking sign minus the cigarette, and have your canvas whatever size you like really. ![]() Open Paint Shop Pro and select File, New or press the New Document icon that looks like a piece of blank paper in the top left. Here I'll show you how to place a logo using Paint Shop Pro's Watermarking tool. ![]() Basically you put a short copyright notice in the image, and how intrusive it is can be entirely up to you. So a means to make sure your work remains yours is required. Although on the one hand this makes the internet an amazing tool for sharing your work, it also means your work can be used against your will in all manner of ways. After the recent controversy over Microsoft's Iconic Britain competition it has become more apparent than ever that your photographs are open to a lot of people on the internet.
